"I never knew that time sped up when you grow older, even after everyone told me. I can tell you now that it's true. One day you were just riding your bicycle with your forever friend, your awsome dog, then you're sitting at your desk trying to figure out your bills for the next 3 months, hoping one of these months you'll get to visit your mother in another state. I enjoy working in my garden, sewing, baking, making sta! tionary and cards and of course writing letters. My musical taste ranges from Loreena McKennitt to Queen, but is often in the calmer genres, like Enya, Clannad, Blackmore's Night and classical stuff. Music, like books, has to touch me in some way. I tend to find top 40 music shallow and don't really like it. I'm interested in art, literature, poetry, religion and spirituality, languages, history, cultures and much more. I am a christian, though I don't feel at home in church and at the moment am not going. I disagree with too many things. It's a topic dear to my heart though and I would love to talk about any form of religion or spirituality, as long as you don't try to convert me. I live together with my girl-friend of 4.5 years, whom I love and adore and couldn't do without. I'm looking for someone whom I can be myself with. I can, and do, write about the deep philosophical stuff, and love doing that. But not always. I also love writing about the homey things, my garden, my studies, my work and things like that. I am a deep kind of person, but also very down-to-earth. It's an interesting combination, alright. About you: You're female, roughly between 20 and 30 years old, preferably living in Europe. You enjoy regular long letter (at least 4 a-4 pages) correspondence, but you have patience enough to wait a couple of weeks when I'm too busy. Obviously I'll extend the same courtesy to you. :) You love life and enjoy writing about it, sharing the big, deep things and the small details of every day life. Most important, you're just a nice person, looking for a nice friend. I understand first letters or emails can be difficult to write, but please do make an effort to introduce yourself in some depth, so as to reduce the chance of disappointment if we turn out not to click after all.
